Sorry your having issues with Snip-It Pro. Snips file are really zip files with a different extension. Can you try changing the extension to zip and seeing if it opens. If not, it may be corrupted.
Also, there should be a log file located in your app data directory: C:\Users\XXXUSERNAMEXX\AppData\Roaming\Snip-It Pro
Where XXXUSERNAMEXXX is your username.
You can try sending that to me and I can try to figure out if there is anything else that can be done.
