I am getting this error when I start the Snip-It Pro installation on a Vista Ultimate PC:

"This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package."

Any Ideas?

Thanks for trying to evaluate Snip-It Pro. I am not exactly sure what could be the cause of your issue, but suspect that your download was corrupted somehow, (only because I knew of one other person that had a similar error)

What is the file size of the installer?

It should be approximately 1.42 Mb.

You can try downloading it again, or if it continues to be an issue I can email you the installer (zipped up).

On another PC (Win XP) the download worked the first time. On my Vista Ultimate PC I had to keep trying 3/4 times before the entire file 1.42 MB was actually downloaded (!?!). But anyway it worked after that. Thanks.
