Integration with Snipplr

Join Snipplr.com and get access to over 18,000 snippets and then use them from Snip-It Pro!

Snipplr is a public source code repository that gives you a place to store and organize all the little pieces of code that you use each day. Best of all, it lets you share your code snippets with other coders and designers. It's code 2.0.


Snip-It Pro now allows you to view all your favorite and shared snippets on Snipplr right from the Snip-It Pro toolbar. "Favorite" interesting snippets on Snipplr and then you can just drag and drop them directly from Snip-It Pro. The following screenshot shows how Snipplr snippets are displayed in Snip-It Pro:



Use Snip-It Pro to view your favorite snippets and then just drag and drop them when you need them. Publish your own and share code with the Snipplr community.

Snip-It Pro even makes it easy to publish your own snippets to Snipplr. Just click the "Publish" button in the toolbar, and Snip-It Pro while upload your snippet to Snipplr.

Snip-It Pro also allow you to remove favorites and delete published snippets from Snipplr. When you perform a search in Snip-It Pro, you can right click the results folder and select "Run search on Snipplr" to automatically run the same search on Snipplr.


In order to use this feature, you must enter your Snipplr Application ID into the Snipplr Options menu of Snip-It Pro. This key gives Snip-It Pro permission to access your Snipplr snippets and is located at the bottom of your Snipplr account settings page.
